The first XV match reports for Howe and Hill/Hill are online. Thanks to Gavin McGregor for compiling.

This seasons reports have the Game first and followed by the date.

Last seasons are in the Match Archive

On the 19th of September this year we hosted a minis festival of rugby at the Cartha QP grounds with 300+ kids and 60 Coaches from Greenock Wanderers RFC, East Kilbride RFC, Strathaven RFC, Birkmyre RFC and Cambuslang RFC which was a great success due to all the help and support from the Coaches and Parents.

Again in September the minis section were awarded "Club of the month" by the Sports Council for Glasgow, we also attended the annual awards evening of the sports council for Glasgow on Monday the 15th of November but unfortunately on this occasion we returned home empty handed.

Since the start of the season we have introduced a formal rota of ball boy's/girls for 1st XV home games which includes players from the Primary 6 and Primary 7 teams, the aim of this is to promote and support the 1st XV team and to also give the team sponsors some publicity by wearing their sponsored strips. At the next home game you will be able to see the ball boy's/girls promoting our new sponsor M&L Electrical who have kindly sponsored a new strip for our Primary 7 team, I have also managed to secured another sponsor and I have another three in the pipeline who will be renewing the strips of each of the minis teams.

This Friday the 19th of November we are hosting a FamilyNnight at the club house from 7pm, to allow all the family's to get together socially and to raise some funds, tickets are priced £5.00 per family of 4 also extra tickets can be purchases for Adults at £2.00 each and Kids £1.00 each, there will be lots of raffles and games on the night for both Adults and kids, everyone is welcome to attend.

And lastly thanks to Andrew Lamont's hard work we are the final stage of arranging tickets for the minis to attend the 1872 Game Glasgow V Edinburgh at Firhill on the 27th of December with players from Cartha Queens Park RFC 1st XV.
